      The Six Thinking Hats is a role-playing guide introduced by Edward de Bono in 1986. It works as a team-based problem-solving and brainstorming technique for exploring difficulties and solutions and reveal ideas and options that might be overlooked by a thinking group with identical thinking members.
      Six Thinking Hats made by Edward de Bono's is a proper decision-making technique and method for group studies and individual thinking. This technique helps organisations think more effectively, coupled with the parallel thinking process. It is a means to organise thinking processes in a detailed and cohesive manner.
      The six thinking hats indicate problems and solutions about an idea the thinker may come up with. There are six hats: Blue hat Red hat Black hat Yellow hat Green hat White hat
      To develop creativity in the brainstorming sessions: Start the meeting and introduce the agenda with a Blue Hat. Highlight essential facts with the White Hat. Think of new ideas with the Green Hat. Build on ideas with the Yellow Hat.
      They are used to support an argument rather than objectively review the situation. White hat thinking advocates mapping the situation first and then choosing the route. This thinking is the process used, rather than providing a conclusion and bringing in facts to support the conclusion.
      Red hat thinking is concerned with emotions, beliefs, and non-rational thinking. Let emotions and feelings be accepted as inputs in the thinking process, otherwise, they will lurk in the background and influence all the thinking in a hidden way.
      Practice Six Thinking Hats with parallel thinking to divide up roles. Do whatever works best for a group of students and the discussed topic. Enquire for specific thinking hat responses or ideas from the entire group. Redirect as needed to keep the ideas focused by the hat.
      The Green Hat concentrates on creativity, possibilities, alternatives, and new ideas. It is a chance to express new concepts and new perceptions.
      The Blue Hat is applied to control the thinking process.
      Put On the (Six) Thinking Hats: White Hat. Discuss the facts and other objective information about the problem. Red Hat. Share feelings and emotions about the issue. Black Hat. Present negative aspects, or worst-case scenarios, regarding the situation. Yellow Hat. Consider positives or advantages of the situation. Green Hat. Blue Hat.
      There are six types of thinking skills, ranked in order of complexity: knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis, and evaluation.
      Enter the five Thinking Hats Method: Name five things one can see. Look around and become aware of the sight in particular. Name four things one can feel. Name three things one can hear. Name two things one can smell. Name one good thing about oneself.
